Frost Herald of Winter I made this as a companion piece to flurry for the snow fairy shoot a customer wanted to do. I wanted her fairy to be a light cute pixie type of fairy, with mine being a more serious elegant fairy. I wanted the two fairies to portray the fun of snow and the cold of ice. This outfit is a whole lot of layers. The Chemise is a chiffon with blue velvet filigree on top, the corset is fully boned and made with a white butterfly Chinese silk. The skirt I draped myself out of white dupioni silk with the train based off of the TV butterfly train. The white sleeves are a fleece bolero Jacket I made and I then made another sleeveless bolero of synthetic fur. The gauntlets are synthetic fur wrapped on with ribbon. Photos by: Matt Norris.
